OrbitOps was commissioned to replace a fragile legacy workflow stack that had become difficult to maintain as the business added more customers, more exceptions, and more operational states.

XOREN led the redesign from system discovery through production rollout, defining service boundaries, operational ownership, and the delivery path needed to move the platform without disrupting live teams.

What changed

  • Introduced a cleaner domain model for jobs, schedules, teams, and exceptions.
  • Reworked reporting flows so managers could see delivery health without manual spreadsheet consolidation.
  • Reduced onboarding friction for new customers by formalising configuration rather than cloning logic.

The result was a platform the client could keep extending without increasing delivery chaos each quarter.
